WASPS TO DECIDE ON 25 MARCH

from the Bucks Free Press 5 March 2004

Wasps are likely to decide whether they will stay in Wycombe at a board meeting on March 25.

The club, who have a one-year option to extend their tenancy agreement with Wycombe Wanderers, are in negotiations to stay in Wycombe for another five years but have to inform the RFU where they are playing next season by March 30.

Sticking points are the access and egress to and from the stadium, capacity, and money, with Wasps able to move back to Loftus Road if negotiations fall through.

Wasps chief executive Alistair McLean said: "We're making good progress over negotiations but there's still some way to go."
