BRENTFORD TO MEET QPR

from the Fulham and Hammersmith Chronicle 5 February 2004

Brentford chiefs have invited Rangers to set up a meeting and discuss a possible groundshare at Loftus Road.

As your favourite local paper revealed last week, Rangers want their second division neighbours to take the place of departing Fulham at the end of this season.

Bees United chairman John McGlashan has admitted his club are willing to explore the opportunity.

He said: "If they want to talk to us we will go and see them.

"It will probably be quite soon, and it would be rude not to hear what they have to say."
