Rangers are hoping the £1 million investment of Tim Krause is on the table this morning.

The millionaire supremo of American club Milwaukee Wave is expected to become the next big investor after Italian agent Gianni Paladini and his group bought 22 per cent of QPR Holdings plc shares three weeks ago.

Wave and QPR already have an agreement to trade younger players for training. It also leaves QPR with an important outlet for the club "brand" in a potentially lucrative market.
