THORNE DUE OVER FOR MAN CITY MATCH
From the Hammersmith Times 15 October 2003

The club are still negotiating with a whole host of people regarding investment in the club but it seems they are still most keen to get Australian businessman David Thorne on board.

The Aussie is expected to fly over to Britain for the Manchester City cup tie and the club will no doubt take the opportunity once again to try to persuade him to buy a substantial share of the club.

The board stated earlier in the season that they did not have the resources to see them through to the end of the season without more investment, and though the
Manchester City game will help the coffers it will not totally alleviate the problem.
